Canon 100x Zoom PowerShot SX Camera Coming Soon

Canon has filed a new patent for a 100x zoom lens for compact cameras. The new patent describes a 100x zoom lens with a focal range of 3.6mm to 340mm.

Canon is already rumored to announce new powershot cameras at the Consumer Electronics Show 2014 which will take place in Las Vegas, Nevada in January 7-10. One of them is the Canon’s big zoom range Powershot SX60 HS compact camera. The SX50 HS replacement, the Powershot SX60 HS is almost clear that we will see it at the show.
