Rumors : Canon RF 24mm f/1.4L USM and RF 50mm f/1.4 IS USM Lenses On the Way

Canon is set to announce two new prime lenses for their RF mount lineup: the RF 24mm f/1.4L USM and the RF 50mm f/1.4 IS USM.  Both lenses are expected to be released in the Q4 of 2024.

The RF 24mm f/1.4L USM is expected to be announced alongside the highly anticipated RF 35mm f/1.4L USM in the next month or two. While exact release dates are not yet known, these announcements are expected to be made soon.

The RF 50mm f/1.4 IS USM, on the other hand, will not be an L-series lens but will include video-focused features. Although details about these features have not been disclosed, the wait for more information is not expected to be long. See hot selling mirrorless cameras.

Canon Set to Release RF 24mm f/1.4L USM and RF 50mm f/1.4 IS USM Lenses

The release of these new RF prime lenses is expected to generate enthusiasm among Canon shooters and contribute to an exciting year for the company in 2024. With the addition of the RF 24mm f/1.4L USM, RF 35mm f/1.4L USM, and RF 50mm f/1.4L USM, Canon users will have access to a more diverse range of high-quality prime lenses, further enhancing their creative possibilities.
