Fujifilm X-T100 announcement could happen in the near future
The rumor mill has provided a few details about the announcement date of the Fujifilm X-T100. The APS-c sensor mirrorless camera could be launched in the next 2-3 weeks period.
It’s unclear if the upcoming model will have the same body design of the X-T20 or maintain the current SLR look. The new Fujifilm X-T100 camera will have an APS-C sized image sensor. The sensor type will be different from the X-trans as it will probably feature a bayer sensor. The sensor resoultion would be 24MP as the new standart.
While the design could be similar to the X-T20, the entry-level Fuji camera will also borrow the selfie friendly LCD screen from the X-A5.
As usual, it would be wise to take everything with a pinch of salt, as Fuji has a bunch of mirrorless products to unveil. We expect the Fujifilm X-T100 announcement a standalone product launch event. This means more to come prior to Photokina 2018.
