Panasonic will announce several new cameras and lens products for the upcoming Consumer Electronics Show 2016, an event which will take place in Las Vegas, Nevada between dates January 6 – 9, 2016.
According to latest rumors, the company will launch Leica DG Vario-Elmar 100-400mm f/4-6.3 telephoto zoom lens for Micro Four Thirds cameras and the Lumix TZ100 and TZ80 compact models as well as two new camcorders.
The German magazine ColorFoto revealed some information related to the Panasonic TZ80 (TZ81 in Europe) and TZ100 (TZ101 in Europe) compact cameras and the new LEICA DG 100-400mm / F4.0-6.3 lens. More details after the break!
Panasonic Leica DG 100-400mm f/4-6.3 MFT Lens, Lumix TZ100 & TZ80 Coming at CES 2016
Panasonic 100-400mm f/4-6.3 lens offer a 35mm camera equivalent focal range of 200-800mm for the Micro Four Thirds cameras. The lens will feature 20 elements in 13 groups. The LEICA DG 100-400mm / F4.0-6.3 will have a splash/dust-proof design, POWER O.I.S. (Optical Image Stabilizer), and weighes 985gr overall.
Currently users have the Olympus Zuiko Digital 70-300mm f/4.0-5.6 ED Lens with a price tag around $400 (click for listings).
