Canon Patent for 180mm, 200mm, 300mm f/3.5 Macro Lenses with Hybrid IS

Egami has spotted a new patent filed by Canon. The new patent describes the 180mm f/3.5 IS, 200mm f/3.5 IS and 300mm f/3.5 IS macro lenses.

This patent details shows us an improved handheld macro photography is on the way. The new macro lenses described here comes with hybrid image stabilization as well. It looks like all these lenses will be full frame. Canon has filed a patent for the optical formula of a new EF 300 f/4L IS II before.
