Panasonic LX8 digital camera is rumored to be a high-end model and the compact camera will have 4k video recording capabilities and the US price will be $899.
Panasonic LX8 will replace LX7 and the new compact camera will sport a larger sensor and a built-in electronic viewfinder, when compared to its predecessor. The official announcement of Panasonic LX8 should be on July 16th.
Panasonic goal is to make a high quality compact camera to compete against the Sony RX100M3. The upcoming LX8 will have a built-in EVF but it will keep the LX7 look. Looks like the price tag will also be $100 higher than RX100 M3. See below!
Panasonic LX8 Compact Camera Price Rumored For $900
Panasonic’s LX8 and Fujifilm X30 would be the first real competitor of the recently announced Sony RX100 M3. Nikon is also rumored to announce 1 inch sensor based compact camera very soon.
The Sony RX100 III features the same 20.1 megapixel back-illuminated 1.0-type Exmor R CMOS sensor as the RX100 II, the latest Bionz X processor, a pop-up electronic viewfinder and a faster 24-70mm F1.8-2.8 lens. Currently the RX100 M3 high-end ultra compact shooter priced for $799.
