According to Fujirumors, Fujifilm will soon launch the Fujifilm XF 8mm F3.5 R WR lens on May 24. The Fujifilm X Summit on May 24 (at 5 AM New York Time) is approaching an probably we’ll meet the new XF 8mm lens along with Fujifilm X-S20!
It seems that Fujifilm XF 8mm F3.5 R WR lens will be announced at the X Summit BKK along with Fujifilm X-S20. This lens is relatively compact for an 8mm (equivalent to 12mm) ultra-wide-angle lens and can be used with filters, so it seems very easy to use. No other information or pricing details have been released so we’ll have to wait and see what is announced.
This XF 8mm lens, which is included in Fujifilm’s 2023 lens roadmap, is expected to be announced together with the X-S20 mirrorless camera.
