Rumors : Fujifilm X-S20 to Feature 26 MP BSI X-Trans IV Sensor

By on

According to latest rumors , the upcoming Fujifilm X-S20 will use 26 MP BSI X-Trans IV sensor, the same as the current Fujifilm X-S10 camera.  This new camera will also be using with NP-W235 Battery. Official announcement is not expected in April, 2023.

Fujifilm recently introduced a 40-megapixel sensor and a stacked 26-megapixel sensor, but it’s highly likely that lower-mid-range models will use the same non-stacked 26-megapixel sensor as before. Will the 40-megapixel sensor be a sensor for high-end models only?

However, the X-S20 will use a new image processing engine, so even with a fixed sensor it can improve on AF performance etc. We can expect improvements.
