Rumors Update : Sony Camera Roadmap in 2023
Here are the latest updates on the upcoming Sony Camera Roadmap in 2023. There are many new Sony cameras expected to be released this year. Below you can find the list of rumored Sony compact cameras, E-mount cameras to be announced in 2023.
We hope these expectations will come true and we will meet the Sony ZV Full Frame Mirrorless Camera, Sony a6700/a7000 APS-C Mirrorless Camera, Sony a7C II, Sony a9 III, Sony A7S IV, Sony ZV-E20 & ZV-E10 II, Sony FX6 II and Sony A1 II.

Rumored Sony Camera Roadmap in 2023
- Sony ZV Full Frame Mirrorless Camera (ZV-E1 ?)
The Sony ZV-E1 is the upcoming full frame mirrorless camera in ZV-line for vloggers. It is now confirmed, to be announced on March 29th, 2023. Like a baby Sony a7S III without EVF, price under $3,000.
- Sony a6700/a7000 APS-C Mirrorless Camera
Sony is going to announce a new high-end/flagship APS-C E-mount mirrorless camera in next few weeks, probably before Summer 2023.
The Sony a7C Mark II is expected to be released sometime in 2023. The a7C is a success full frame vlogging camera on the market. The a7C Mark II is expected to feature a higher megapixel CMOS sensor, could use Sony a7 IV‘s 33MP Exmor R CMOS Sensor. Along new video features like 8K video could coming.
The Sony a9 Mark III is a high-end full frame mirrorless camera expected to be released sometime in 2023. Sony a9 III will be the successor of Sony a9 II, and it is set to compete with Canon EOS R5/R5 Mark II.
- Sony ZV-E20 & ZV-E10 II
The Sony ZV-E20 & ZV-E10 II is the successor of ZV-E10. ZV-E20 could feature with a new sensor, and new video features and some improvements over ZV-E10.
- Sony a7S IV
The Sony a7S IV is a new full frame mirrorless camera optimized for video. This camera could be released in late 2023 to 2024.
- Sony FX6 II
The new professional cinema full frame camera. Could be announced in late 2023 to 2024.
- Sony a1 II
The new flagship full frame mirrorless camera to replace current Sony a1.
