Sony A6500 Successor Rumored to be Announced on July 17

Sony A6500 successor camera to be announced on July 17. The design of the camera is rumored to be α6000 series and will not feature center EVF. Slightly larger body will probably use the FZ100 battery.

The next camera will be an updated version of A6500 so the name of this model could be the Sony A6700. For this next model sensor should be the same or better than the Fujifilm X-T3 and 4k@60p 10 bit becomes very important in the market.

July 17 announcement might also bring a new Sony RX camera. On the other hand it’s almost clear that a possible high-end Sony APS-c camera will use the latest 26MP BSI sensor with improved AF and the addition of 4K @60p 4:2:2 10 bit video mode.
