Nikon AF-S NIKKOR 500mm f/5.6E PF ED VR Lens Price and Length Information

Here is the price and length information of the Nikon  lens. As you might remember Nikon officially announced the development of AF-S NIKKOR 500mm f/5.6E PF ED VR Super-Telephoto FX-Format lens on June 14th.

The FX-format optic will be compact and lightweight glass just like the 300mm f/4 and will use the Phase Fresnel (PF) lens elements.

So what will be the price and the length of the upcoming Nikon AF-S NIKKOR 500mm f/5.6E PF ED VR and how we compare it to others. Check it out!

Price and Length of Nikon AF-S NIKKOR 500mm f/5.6E PF ED VR Lens

The new 500mm f/5.6 lens will be very compact with a total length of 24cm. For comparison, the current Nikkor 300mm f/4E PF ED VR lens is 14.7cm, while the Nikkor 500mm f/4E FL ED VR lens is 38.7cm.

The price is expected to be around $4,300/€4,300 (converted from the leaked Asian pricing, the actual US and EU pricing could be slightly different, not sure if taxes are included in the price). For comparison, the current Nikkor 300mm f/4E PF ED VR lens is $1,997, while the Nikkor 500mm f/4E FL ED VR lens is $10,297.
