Fuji To Announce a XF 56mm f/1.2 R APD “super bokeh” lens

Fujifilm is rumored to announce a new XF 56mm f/1.2 R APD lens which is designed to provide smooth bokeh.

The XF 56mm f/1.2 R APD will have a Fuji nanotechnology apodizing filter that produces smoother bokeh. The lens will feature a sort of Smooth Transition Focus technology seen on the Sony-Minolta 135mm f/2.8 [T4.5] lens for A-mount cameras.

The classic Fujifilm XF 56mm F1.2 lens is currently priced for $999.
