Here are the latest Sony Firmware Updates. Sony released a new firmware that includes minor bug fixes and a little bit of performance improvement. Along with the Sony A1 and A1 II we also have a new minor update for the A9 III camera.
Follow these easy steps for Sony firmware updates. Once you format the memory card, all the data recorded on the memory card will be deleted and cannot be restored. Before formatting, copy the data to a computer or other device. Please refer to the instruction manual of the camera for compatible memory cards. Make sure that there is only one BODYDATA.DAT file on the memory card.
- On the camera, select Menu → Setup → Setup Option → Version.
- The system software version is displayed.
- Select Menu → Setup → Setup Option → Version and select Software Update.
- Select Execute on the system software update confirmation screen and the update starts
