Sigma 16-28mm f/2.8 DG DN Contemporary Lens to be Announced Soon

Sigma is rumored to announce a new 16-28mm f/2.8 DG DN Contemporary lens for Sony E and Leica L mounts. The official announcement is expected in the next few days.

In addition to the upcoming Sigma 50mm f/2 DG DN Contemporary lens and Sigma 50mm f/1.2 DG DN Art lens, Sigma will also announce a new 16-28mm f/2.8 DG DN Contemporary lens for Sony E and Leica L mounts.

There’s no information on the price yet, but the F1.2 lens will be $500 cheaper than the Sony 50mm f/1.2 GM Lens.  Designed for  full-frame Sony E mount, you can use this premium lens on mirrorless cameras such as the Sony A7 IVSony A7R IV.
