Nikon has confirmed that a new flagship Z-mount camera is coming this year. It will be a mirrorless D6 which surpass the features of the DSLR with a stacked sensor and 8K video.
In a recent interview with DPReview, the confirmation comes from Keiji Oishi, Department Manager of Nikon’s Imaging Business Unit. According to the details a flagship Nikon Z-series mirrorless camera can be expected within the year. He also adds that the camera is being developed with the goal of surpassing the D6.
