New Firmware Updates Released for Nikon Z50 and D780

By on

Nikon released a new firmware updates for the Nikon Z50 and D780 cameras and new versions of Capture NX-D and ViewNX-i. Z Series cameras keep improving with each Nikon firmware update. Accordingly, in addition to the Nikon Z5 update, various bug fixes have been released for the D780.

Firmware is the embedded software that a device such as a digital camera uses to control certain hardware functionality. If your camera offers a firmware update it’s usually a good idea to take advantage of it.

If you have never updated firmware on your Nikon DSLR or mirrorless camera, or have not performed an update for a long time, you might want to check this page at Nikon Support.
