Sony’s newest full-frame E-mount lens weighs just 373 g (13.2oz) and measures slightly smaller than the FE 24mm F1.4 GM (Amazon, B&H, Adorama for $1,398). Overall construction includes dust and moisture-resistance, and the lens accepts 67mm filters.
Sony claims that two ‘advanced aspheric’ and three extra-low dispersion elements provide exceptional corner-to-corner sharpness. Nine aperture blades provide circular out-of-focus highlights and smooth bokeh, even as you stop the lens down.
