Breaking : Nikon Z50 APS-C Mirrorless Camera to be Announced Soon

Nikon is rumored to announce a new APS-C mirrorless camera for Z-mount. The name of the new Z-series camera will be Nikon Z50. This is the code name N1912. Along with the Nikon Z50.APS-c mirrorless camera there will also be two new kit lenses with focal lengths between 16-55 and 50-250.

DX-format Nikon Z50 mirrorless camera will feature 20MP APS-c sensor and provide continuous shooting speed up to 11fps. The new camera will use the Nikon EN-EL25 Battery. We hope that the 20MP sensor on the Nikon Z50 is the sensor used in the D500 and D5. Let’s hope it will have better battery life for a MILC.

It seems that Nikon will be using the Z(x) naming for full-frame and Z(xx) for APS-C. Below are some specs info about Nikon Z50 and two DX Z-mount lenses:

      • APS-C mirrorless camera
      • 20MP APS-C sensor
      • 3″ pivoted LCD screen
      • EVF
      • 11 fps
      • New Nikon EN-EL25 Battery
  • NIKKOR Z DX 16-55mm f/3.5-6.3 Lens (A small lightweight collapsible kit DX lens)
  • NIKKOR Z DX 50-250mm f/4.5-6.3 Lens (A small lightweight collapsible DX lens)
