The best normal zoom listed is in fact linking to the sequel to the lens mentioned if I am not mistaken? I own the version prior to the Contemporary version (the one listed at Amazon above). Are you listing the version prior to the Contemporary or the Contemporary as the best lens?

    • dcnadmin

      Hi Richard,

Thank you for stopping by. The recommendation is for the one prior to the Contemporary. I check the Amazon link and it’s the same one listed at Amazon.

Hi again, thanks for the reply. The name of the lens is a hyperlink that goes to Amazon, https://www.amazon.com/Sigma-17-70mm-F2-8-4-Contemporary-Macro/dp/B00AXZZ034/?tag=daicamnew-20, and as you can see in the URL, it refers to the Contemporary version of the lens. If that is inadvertedly or if Amazon perhaps are no longer selling the lens prior to the Contemporary one, that I haven’t double-checked though.

Once again thanks for a fantastic site!
