Laowa 10-18mm Ultra Wide-angle Zoom Lens for Canon R and Nikon Z Coming This Summer

Venus Optics is rumored to start producing Laowa full-frame mirrorless lenses for Canon EOS R and Nikon Z-mount. The first one would be the Laowa 10-18mm ultra wide-angle zoom lens and it is coming this summer.

Designed primarily for travel photography, this is currently the widest zoom lens available for Canon and Nikon full frame mirroless cameras. Official announcement could happen in July or August. The lens will be similar to the lens.

This is one of the 8 new Laowa lenses introduced at Photokina 2018 event. The price of the Laowa 10-18mm could match the Sony E-mount version which is $849. Expect the similar prica tag for Canon R and Nikoz Z models. Check availability at Adorama and B&H. Here are the specs of the Sony version to compare.
