Nikon will allegedly announce the NIKKOR Z 70-200mm f/4 lens sometime in 2020. According to latest rumors, the telephoto lens is one of the upcoming TBA lenses in the Nikon Z mount lens roadmap.
The Nikon NIKKOR Z 70-200mm f/4 lens will be cheaper and lighter than NIKKOR Z 70-200mm f/2.8 S lens. Release date for this lens is in 2020 to 2021.
There will be a total of 23 Z-mount mirrorless lenses by 2021. Below is the list of upcoming Nikon Z-mount lenses by year:
2019:
- NIKKOR Z 14-30mm f/4 S Lens (Already Announced)
- NIKKOR Z 58mm f/0.95 S NOCT Lens (Coming in late January)

- NIKKOR Z 24-70mm f/2.8 S Lens
