Yongnuo unveils YN 60mm F2 MF macro lens

Yongnuo has introduced its newest YN 60mm F2 MF macro lens.

There has been no official word on what mount it will be made for, but the gold-plated contacts in the product shot make this a Canon EF lens. Price also hasn’t been revealed.

The model has a minimum focus distance from 0.234m / 9.2-inches and offers up to a 1:1 magnification ratio, as well as an infinity mode, manual focus with support for half-press shutter focus prompt and automatic exposure. The lens is made up of a metal bayonet, 10 glass elements in nine groups, and seven aperture blades.

Shooting in macro mode and infinity mode both can achieve good image quality, which is suitable for shooting in macro, portrait, landscape and other scenes.

Supports USB-free Firmware Upgrade

Firmware of the lens can be upgraded through camera instead of using USB port, which not only meets the requirements of firmware upgrade and appearance design, but also avoids the incompatibility problems caused by different computer operating systems.（Note: this function needs to be supported by camera）
