New Sigma 70-200mm f/2.8 Lens Coming at Photokina 2018 in September

According to latest reports Sigma is planning to announce their new 70-200mm f/2.8 lens for Photokina 2018 in September.

Sigma already has a patent application for a 70-200mm f/2.8 that has ben filed back in May 2016. This new 70-200mm f/2.8 lens will replace the current 70-200mm f/2.8 EX DG OS HSM version.

Earlier rumors / suggestions indicates that Sigma will expand the 70-200mm lineup in three different versions. As expected it will be seperated as Sports, Art and Contemporary.

Sigma is allegedly working on three new telephoto zoom lenses with a focal length of 70-200mm that is expected to be announced at Photokina 2018.

  • Sigma 70-200mm f/2.8 DG OS HSM Sports Lens
  • Sigma 70-200mm f/2.8 DG OS HSM Art Lens
  • Sigma 70-200mm f/4 DG OS HSM Contemporary Lens
