Canon EF 70-200mm f/4L IS II USM Lens Coming Next

The rumor mill is confident that we will indeed see the Canon EF 70-200mm f/4L IS II USM lens very soon.

The telephoto zoom lens previously rumored to be announced in April instead of September. Apparently there may be some delay.

Even the exact announcement date of the replacement for the EF 70-200mm f/4 L IS USM lens for Canon DSLRs is unknown, the new model is expected to arrive very soon.

Canon EF 70-200mm f/4L IS II USM Lens Coming Next

The current-generation Canon EF 70-200mm f/4L USM lens has been available since 1999, while another IS version is also available. This version is available at Amazon for $629. Moreover, Canon is also selling an EF 70-200mm f/4L IS USM optic. This version sports image stabilization technology, therefore it costs a lot more, as its price stands at $1,149.

In addition, Canon is testing the new EF 70-200mm f/2.8L IS III lens, which is expected to be announced around Photokina 2018 in September.
