Sigma just announced the pricing of their new ARTseries prime lenses that is designed for Sony full-frame E-mount cameras.
The newly announced seven Sigma FE prime lenses now available for pre-order at B&H Photo Video and Adorama.com. The US price for these lenses are same as Canon/Nikon version. Prices for 70mm and 105mm lenses have not been announced yet.
The new Sigma Art lenses for Sony E-mount are basically the existing lenses for DSLRs with an added Sigma MC-11 adapter. This is the result that the lenses look so big on the prototype pictures. See the pictures of the new Sigma lenses for Sony E-mount were on display at the 2018 CP+ show in Japan.
Pricing announced for the new Sigma DG HSM Art full frame E-mount lenses for Sony cameras
Nine ART series lenses for Sony full frame E-mount cameras now available for pre-order. According to Sigma, the E-mount versions will offer a newly developed control algorithm that optimizes the autofocus drive and maximizes the data transmission speed.
The release dates for all these Sigma ART E-mount lenses are expected by the end of April.
