I look forward to the announcement of this camera with great interest. I have owned all the models of the serious FZ, the most interesting expectations for me are:

1) 4K video at 60fps.
2) Full HD video at 240fps.
3) 24-600mm range 25x optical zoom lens.
4) UHS-II support
5) Weather sealing
6) Improved battery life
7) Price around 1.000 ÷ 1.100 U$D

With these features and with this price the Panasonic FZ3000 will surely be winning on the Sony RX10M4.

You are right on the money with your desire for 24-600mm 25x optical zoom. If the FZ2500 had this reach, I would own it now. For long distance shooting, the extra reach is essential. (Yes, thanks to Panny’s Extended Optical Zoom, using sensor crop instead of digital interpolation, you can get about 1.4x more reach, but with a reduction in megapixels; I use this all the time with my GX8 and FZ300 – but there’s no substitute for full-resolution optical zoom.)

What about MFT sensor? This was considered for some time and canon now has put a big sensor in its compacts. Personally I would prefer a larger sensor with shorter lens range…ie micro four thirds 16 or 20 mgp 24-400 2.8 Constant…dream camera I suppose.
