Canon 6D Mark II to Feature New 26MP Sensor with DPAF

Canon is rumored to announce a successor to the EOS 6D full-frame DSLR, which will be called 6D Mark II and which will feature an image sensor with 26-megapixels.

The latest rumors marks the coming of the Canon 6D Mark II with a new 26 megapixel full-frame sensor. At the same time, it is among the expectations that the sensor will have dual pixel CMOS AF Technology inside.

A quick update for the Canon 6D Mark II announcement date. The DSLR will be announced several other Canon products on July 29th.

  • 26MP Full Frame CMOS Sensor
  • DIGIC 7
  • Wi-Fi
  • Bluetooth
  • Vari-Angle LCD
  • A slightly taller and deeper body over the current Canon 6D
  • New battery grip BG-E21
  • Announcement on June 29, 2017, Shipping in early August

In addition, Canon will unveil the new EOS Rebel SL2 DSLR camera and EF 85mm f/1.4L IS USM Lens this Summer. As a side note it will NOT replace the current EF 85mm f/1.2L ($1,849). Stay tuned with Dailycameranews for more information.
