Panasonic 100-400mm f/4-6.3 Lens Firmware Updated to Version 1.2

Panasonic released a new firmware update for its Leica DG 100-400mm f/4-6.3 lens.

The super-telephoto zoom lens offers a truly expansive 200-800mm equivalent focal length range when attached to a Micro Four Thirds body.

POWER O.I.S. mechanism helps to control camera shake for sharper handheld shooting. The system is compatible with the Dual I.S. function in select Lumix G cameras. This also minimizes the appearance of camera shake by using both sensor-shift and lens-shift type stabilization methods.

Firmware update version 1.2 for the Pana 100-400mm lens improves the performance of O.I.S.(Optical Image Stabilizer).
