Laowa 15mm f/2 FE Zero-D for Sony E-mount System
Venus Optics released the first video showing the Sony version of the Laowa 15mm f/2 FE Zero-D lens.
Designed for the E-mount system, the lens is billed as the World’s Fastest 15mm lens for Sony full-frame cameras. The Laowa 15mm f/2 FE Zero-D measures 82x66mm and uses 72mm filters. Also, the 72mm filter thread allows quick installation of filters for landscape shooting.
With bright f/2 aperture and 110-degree angle of view, this lens is perfect for astrophotography, aurora, interiors and nightscapes. The lens will be available from Q2 2017.

The metal-bodied manual-focus lens weighs in at 500 grams. It features an aperture click switch, enabling both stepped and clickless aperture operation for both stills photography and videography.
