Canon Full Frame Mirrorless Camera Rumors

Canon is rumored to be working on a mirrorless camera with full-frame image sensor.

A full-frame mirrorless camera is rumored since at least two years but according to latest Canon Rumors, the company is actively working on a pro-level mirrorless model with full-frame image sensor.

There will not be a 4th mount added to the Canon ILC lineup. The biggest challenge to the design team is making good use of EF mount lenses.

It’s also possible we’re going to see a full frame mirrorless fixed lens camera from Canon before we see an ILC full frame mirrorless. Expect any sort of full frame mirrorless announcement until the end of 2018 at the earliest. Photokina 2018 is the best event for this.

The EOS M5 is Canon’s latest mirrorless camera, but it is not the pro-grade one that the company’s fans are looking for. The rumors about a professional Canon full frame mirrorless cameras have been circulating on the web for many years. So we might see the high-end model soon.
