A New Sony A-mount Camera To Be Announced in Early November

Sony is rumored to announce the a new A-mount camera which will replace the A99. A possible Sony A99II full-frame A-mount camera is previously scheduled to be announced in Fall 2015.

According to latest Sony rumors, the new A-mount camera model is coming in early November right after the PhotoPlus 2015 and feature a new sensor as well as internal 4K recording.

The high end A-mount camera Sony A99 is three years old, so a replacement for this lineup possibly could be the A99II.

For Sony, it looks like the E-mount is priority but the company also working on a A99II A-mount camera.

The A99 features a 24MP 36x24mm CMOS sensor that features on-sensor phase detection, creating a dual AF system that promises improved focus tracking and focus precision. The A-mount camera can found around $2,000 at Amazon.

Sony will abandon 1/1 A-mount camera for beginners just like Olympus said they will not kill the Olympus E-5.
Beside the Sony SLT-A99 was not their pro camera. The last was the Sony A900.
They are gearing up to make beginner & amateur cameras like the Sony A6000 and Sony A7 series.
You simply CAN NOT stay in business by making it to selected few.
