Sony A7000 Rumored to Feature on Sensor HDR

More information for the upcoming Sony A7000 high-end E-mount mirrorless camera have been leaked online.

According to latest Sony rumors, the Alpha A7000 camera (name is still not clear yet) is rumored to have on sensor HDR feature. This means both images and recorded videos will be capable of 15.5 stops of dynamic range.

The details of the “on sensor HDR” feature on the new Sony a7000 is still unknown yet. But the Sony Xperia Z smartphone has the similar on sensor HDR tech.

The NEX-7 replacement camera will still fetaure a newly developed 24.3-megapixel APS-c image sensor with 1080p XAVCS Codec. It will be about 8% smaller than the NEX-7. See previously posted A7000 specs here.

So when will be the Sony A7000 announcement happen. The company has succeed in keeping secret on their latest product announcements. It can be anytime soon but possible dates should be around late Summer or early Fall.
