Sony today released a new firmware update for its A7 series mirrorless cameras; the A7, A7R, A7S and the APS-c E-mount A6000 mirrorless model.
The firmware update version 2.00 for Sony a6000, a7, a7R and a7S improves the start-up speed of the mirrorless cameras. It also adds XAVC-S recording on the A6000.

The main updates from this version 2.00 is below:
- Improved the start-up speed of Sony a6000, a7, a7R, a7S
- Sony a6000 now able to recording XAVC-S at 60p / 30p / 24p.
This new firmware now available for download in Japan (Win/Mac).
