Nikon AF-S Nikkor 300mm f/4 FL VR Lens To Be Announced Soon

Nikon is rumored to announce the next generation of the current AF-S NIKKOR 300mm f/4D IF-ED lens in early 2015.

According to latest Nikon Rumors, the new AF-S NIKKOR 300mm f/4E PF ED VR lens to be announced soon at CES 2015 event which will happen in the first week of January in Las Vages.

Nikon has already filed at least two different patents for a 300mm f/4 lens in the past years. Now the company will introduce the long rumored AF-S Nikkor 300mm f/4 FL VR lens with Nano and fluorine coating. The replacement model is also said to be very lightweight.

  • Minimum focusing distance: 1.4m./55in.
  • Filter size: 77mm
  • Tripod collar will probably be sold s separately (just like with the Nikon RT-1 tripod mount ring for the 70-200mm f/4 lens)

Nikkor AF-S 300mm f/4 FL VR lens which will be the long awaited replacement of the current Nikkor AF-S 300mm f/4D IF-ED currently priced for $1,369.00
