Canon EOS 7D Listed as Discontinued at Amazon

Canon EOS 7D digital SLR camera is now listed as “discontinued” at Amazon. You can still get the camera from other retailers through Amazon.

As expected Canon is rumored to announce the EOS 7D Mark II DSLR camera very soon. As previously mentioned, the embargo will end at midnight on Friday, September 5, 2014 for the Canon 7D camera.

This is also another sign that the Canon EOS 7D Mark II announcement date might have been scheduled around Photokina 2014 in September.

The Canon EOS 7D is a high-performance digital SLR, that features the resolving power of an 18-megapixel APS-C format CMOS sensor and dual DIGIC 4 image processors that enable 8 frames-per-second capture of high-definition, low-noise imaging at sensitivity levels up to ISO 12800. It accepts lenses with EF or EF-S mounts.

The 7D Mark II will be “pro” APS-C DSLR camera. See the combined new specs for the upcoming 7d Mark II. The new telephoto zoom lens is said to be the EF 100-400mm f/4.5-5.6L IS II lens which will be the replacement for the EF 100-400mm f/4.5-5.6L IS USM model.
