Nikon Patent for 10-145mm f/4-5.6 Lens

Egami spotted a new patent filed by Nikon in Japan. The new patent describes a 10-145mm f/4-5.6 lens designed for 1″ sensor cameras.

The lens has a very long focal range of 27-390mm in full frame terms. This patent could refer a new 1 Nikkor mirrorless lens or for a rumored digital compact camera with 1″ sensor.

Two compact cameras are mentioned in rumors before. These are Nikon Coolpix P700 and Nikon Coolpix P8000 cameras.
