The Sony A7 and A7r full frame cameras to be announced on October 16. Zeiss FE 24-70mm f/4.0 and Sony G FE 28-70mm f/3.5-5.6 lenses are also to be announced along with the new Sony A7 and A7r cameras.
Sony G FE 28-70mm f/3.5-5.6 will be the standart kit lens of the upcoming Sony A7 and A7r full frame cameras. There is no info if the lens will include OSS or not but the price will be $300 when purchased with the NEX-FF cameras. Sony G FE 28-70mm f/3.5-5.6 lens will be available in camera stores in November.
Zeiss FE 24-70mm f/4.0 and Sony G FE 28-70mm f/3.5-5.6 Lenses
According to SAR, the second kit lens Zeiss FE 24-70mm f/4.0 OSS lens will be the only “low-priced” lens of the FE range when bought as kit lens with the A7 and A7r cameras. This lens will have an aperture of F/4. Zeiss FE 24-70mm f/4.0 OSS lens will be available in early 2014.
The other Zeiss lenses expected to be announced with the A7 and A7r cameras are the Zeiss 35mm f/2.8 prime and the Zeiss FE 55mm f/1.8 lenses.
