New Canon EOS M Camera to be Announced This Summer

Rumors about the Canon’s next mirrorless camera start to show up again. The successor of Canon EOS M mirrorless camera is rumored to be announced this summer.

According to CR the Canon EOS M replacement will feature a new autofocus system and will be launched alongside two new lenses. Theses lenses are compact zoom and telephoto zoom will be launched along with the new EOS M camera. Canon doesn’t have plans currently to launch more EOS M prime lenses, as they see the segment as “entry level”.

The new lens patents from Canon may also be related to EOS M successor.
