Sony has announced the FX3a, a revised version of its FX3 full-frame Cinema Line camera. It is listed at B&H as a new item available for pre-order and is priced at $3898.
The only difference between the Sony FX3a and FX3 is that the LCD screen has been increased from 1.44m dots to 2.36m dots, USB-C replaces older USB 3.2 Gen 1 ports, and the charger has changed from BC-QZ1 to BC-ZD1. The comparison between the two Sony FX3 camera models can be found here.
Sony has not yet announced pricing or an official release date for the FX3a, and it’s not listed for sale on Sony’s website.
