Nikon Nikkor Z 600mm F6.3 PF Lens to be Announced Soon

Nikon will soon announce the new Nikkor Z 600mm F6.3 PF lens  This lens is expected to be about the same size and weight as the current Nikon Nikkor AF-S 500mm F5.6E PF ED VR. However, the F value of the Z 600mm f/6.3 may be F5.6.

The price is expected to be around $4,000, just a bit more expensive. It is rumored to weigh about 3 pounds (1,390g). The official announcement of this lens maybe on October 10th, but perhaps this is only a development announcement. This lens is now being tested.

This lens seems to be a fairly lightweight, compact and easy-to-use lens for a 600mm.

Recently Nikon announced the NIKKOR Z 135mm f/1.8 S Plena lens. The US price of the lens is $2,499.95. The Nikkor Z 135mm f/1.8 S ‘Plena’ is Nikon’s second named Z-mount lens, following in the footsteps of 2019’s Nikkor Z 58mm f/0.95 S Noct.

Nikon NIKKOR Z 135mm f/1.8 S Plena lens pre-orders now open at B&H PhotoAdorama and Amazon.
