The first reviews of Viltrox 85mm f/1.8 Z full-frame autofocus lens for Nikon Z-mount have been published on the web. The lens is currently available to purchase on Amazon for $399. That’s $300 less than the MSRP of Nikon’s own Nikkor Z 85mm F1.8 S lens.
Viltrox’s latest weighs 540 grams and has a front filter size of 72mm, compared to the Nikon 85mm f/1.8 S which weighs 470 grams and has a front filter size of 67mm. The lens will work on all Nikon Z full-frame cameras, including the new Z6 II and Z7 II.
