Sony FE 12-24mm f/2.8 GM Lens to be Announced Soon

As previously mentioned before, Sony is expected to unveil a new wide-angle zoom lens in 2020. Now more information about this lens has emerged. According to recent rumors, Sony’s new wide-angle zoom lens model be the Sony FE 12-24mm f /2.8 GM lens and will be officially announced in the first half of 2020.

New bright prime optic will expand the ultra-high-resolution G Master series lens lineup which is optimized for full-frame E-mount cameras. The officially announcement for this lens is expected in the Spring of 2020.

According to latest rumors, Sony will also announce a new wide-angle prime G Master series lens around CP+ 2020. After Sony released the FE 24mm f/1.4 GM lens, next wide-angle prime GM lens could be in three different focal lengths.

The current Sony FE 24mm f/1.4 GM wide-angle prime lens is in stock at Amazon, B&H, Adorama for $1,398.

• 18mm f/1.8 GM Lens
• 14mm f/2.8 GM Lens
• 28mm f/1.4 GM Lens

Sony will also announce a new camera WW119533 soon, this camera is probably be Sony RX1R III.
