Fujifilm X-T4 to be Announced in Early 2020 ?

Fujifilm X-T4 camera is rumored to be announced in early 2020. Recent reports suggests that Fuji could announce the X-T4 as a X-T3 successor in early 2020. Shipping date is claimed to be March 2020 and the official announcement expected in late February at CP+ 2020 event.

The Fujifilm XT3 is a weather-resistant mirrorless interchangeable-lens camera announced on September 6, 2018. It has a backside-illuminated X-Trans CMOS 4 APS-C sensor and an X-Processor 4 quad core processor.

Previous rumors has indicated that the X-T4 will be announced in late 2020. Now it seems that Fujifilm has move forward the X-T4 announcement to early 2020. Fujifilm currently has two unannounced camera codes registered: FF190003 and FF190005. The FF190003 is rumored to be announced on January 24th, 2020.

Fujifilm X-T4 specifications

  • Fujifilm X-T4 will have IBIS
  • New image sensor
  • 6K Video at 60p
  • 10 bit internal
  • It should be about 1/3 of an inch thicker and about 5-6 oz heavier than X-T3
  • Anamorphic ratio support
  • Fully articulating flippy screen like the Panasonic Lumix-S1H
  • Release date in late 2020

The Fujifilm X-T4 will be available as a replacement to the X-T3 camera and is expected to be released on March 2020.
