Tokina is on the verge to announce a new “Tokina ATX-I 11-16mm f/2.8 CF Lens” for Canon & Nikon DSLR cameras. This Tokina ATX-I 11-16mm f/2.8 CF lens will be released on November 8, 2019.
The ATX-I 11-16mm f/2.8 CF lens by Tokina will be an ultra-wide angle autofocus zoom lens with a fast constant f/2.8 maximum aperture. The lens is designed for digital cameras with APS-C-size CMOS sensors.
The Japanese price is ￥54,800 JYP, US price around $500 USD. The design of this lens is the same as Tokina opera series. The official announcement will be is expected to happen sson.
Nokishita reports that the new lens will be called ATX-i 11-16mm f/2.8 CF and it would be the direct replacement for the current 11-16mm f/2.8 model pictured above).
