Here is the first review for the Samyang AF 45mm f/1.8 FE lens for Sony E-mount. ePhotozine reviewed the Samyang’s AF Prime lens and found that it had some very impressive performance.
Designed for Sony E-Mount full frame mirrorless cameras the Samyang AF 45mm f/1.8 FE lens is the newest compact and affordable glass with a price tag of $399. The lens is also compatible with APS-c models where it will provide a 67.5mm equivalent focal length.
It uses aspherical and extra-low dispersion elements to minimize various aberrations and an Ultra Multi-Coating reduces flare and ghosting. Additionally, it can focus as close as 1.5′ and has a 9-bladed circular aperture for smooth bokeh.

With a high level of performance and a pleasing character, the Samyang AF 45mm f/1.8 FE lens has plenty of potential to become a favourite. There are some parameters that may need some additional correction in software, not really an issue as the solutions are there.
