The new Zeiss ZX1 camera is now listed at B&H Photo Video. Price information for the ZX1 is not available yet. The release date for the full frame fixed-lens camera is scheduled for early 2019.

Zeiss ZX1 comes with a 37.4MP image sensor and a fixed 35mm Distagon F2 lens. It has a huge 4.3″ touchscreen with a resolution of 1280×720 pixels to augment its physical controls. Zeiss ZX1 is similar to the Sony RX1.

Paired perfectly to the sensor is a ZEISS Distagon T* 35mm f/2 prime lens, whose general wide-angle field of view suits a broad range of shooting applications, from reportage to landscape to portraiture.

The ZX1 is outfitted with a slew of connectivity options, ranging from Wi-Fi and Bluetooth to a USB Type-C connector for offloading directly to an external hard drive. In terms of saving imagery on the camera, a built-in 512GB SSD offers an impressive amount of storage space for your photos and videos, along with the possibility to organize files into collections for faster navigation.
