Tokina opera 50mm f/1.4 FF Lens Price Around $1,100, Release Date in October

According to latest reports the new Tokina Opera 50mm f/1.4 FF lens will start shipping by the end of October with a price around $1,100. This is a basic conversion from the 126,900 yen price in Japan which makes it around $1,100 including tax. Usually the US pricing will become lower and stand at $1,000 (check US pricing at B&H).

The Nikon F and Canon EF mount Tokina Opera 50mm F1.4 FF is a fast standard-length prime designed to achieve high optical performance. Dust and weather resistant optic features an ultrasonic motor, a focus ring that rotates the same direction as that of a genuine Canon or Nikon lens.
