The new Sigma Art lenses for Sony E-mount were on display at the 2018 CP+ show in Japan.
To underline and remember, Sigma will develop nine ART series lenses for Sony full frame E-mount cameras. According to Sigma, the E-mount versions will offer a newly developed control algorithm that optimizes the autofocus drive and maximizes the data transmission speed.
The lenses will work with Sony’s AF-C mode, and as with existing lenses via MC-11 adapter, will work with in-camera stabilization and in-camera lens corrections.
These lenses are the Sigma 105mm f/1.4 DG HSM Art, Sigma 135mm f/1.8 DG HSM Art, Sigma 14mm f/1.8 DG HSM Art, Sigma 20mm f/1.4 DG HSM Art, Sigma 24mm f/1.4 DG HSM Art, Sigma 35mm f/1.4 DG HSM Art, Sigma 50mm f/1.4 DG HSM Art, Sigma 70mm f/2.8 DG Macro Art, Sigma 85mm f/1.4 DG HSM Art.
