Fujifilm is rumored to introduce GFX 50R and GFX 100S medium format mirrorless cameras for the upcoming models.
According to FujiAddict website, the release date of these two new medium format mirrorless cameras are in 2018 and 2019, respectively.
Fujifilm will also release 25-30 medium format mirrorless lenses in the next 5 years period. More details after the break!
Fujifilm GFX 50R and GFX 100S medium format cameras
The GFX 50R will be a big brother for currently X-Pro cameras. The camera is expected to feature a 50MP medium format sensor. Expected availability of the GFX 50R will be around Photokina 2018. The US price is expected to be between $3,900 to $4,300.
The GFX 100S will be more expensive than GFX 50R, which might have the same price tag as the current GFX 50S. Meaning around $6,500. The release date for GFX 100S will be in 2019 to 2020.
