Designed for Sony full-frame E-mount cameras, the new Samyang / Rokinon lens will feature a fast aperture of f/1.4 and autofocus system. The prime optic will consist of 11 elements in 9 groups with nine aperture blades.
The company already has AF lenses for FE mount. Samyang’s autofocus lens line-up has the AF 14mm F2.8 FE, AF 35mm F2.8 FE and AF 50mm F1.4 FElenses. There is no price information about the Rokinon AF 35mm f/1.4 FE lens. We expect it to be around $699 mark.

The upcoming lens is specifically designed to work with full frame mirrorless cameras in Sony E mount. For full frame sensors, the focal length resembles the human eye the most. For APS-C size image sensor cameras like Sony A6000 and A5000 series users the lens is equivalent to approximately 52mm.
